From post-natural disasters to military applications and intelligence gathering, WIDAR captures detailed 3D surface maps of geo-regions with the ability to pan, zoom, and rotate within that specific area.
Functional interface designs illustrate the application of high-resolution 3D image capture deep in the field, tech penetrating difficult locations to map the signature of unseen objects. Different interface opacities were crafted to display how surface mapping can be enhanced using additional technologies in tandem with WIDAR. These optical layers of merged data can be used by experts such as archaeologists or defense intelligence agencies to analyze regions of interest in more detail.
